Walker Buehler game shutout
He finished the first Major League complete game with 98 pitches and a 4-0 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday night. After the third inning, he retired the 13 players he faced head-on, making it tough for his opponents to hit or score. Walker Buehler was recognised for his performance because it was the first complete game by a Dodger player since Hyun-Jin Ryu in 2019.
He just needed 12 pitches when he struck out to end the seventh inning. In the eighth inning, he struck out two more batters. As the game entered the final innings, it was clear that Buehler would be the victor because of his solid control and relaxed demeanor. Buehler felt confidence in his ability to drop his stance and improve ball concealment after working with the Dodger pitching instructors.
